ATA NSW is the state representative organisation for road freight transport
operators in NSW. It was formed in 2007 by the Australian Trucking Association in partnership with NSW-based transport operators, large and small. ATA NSW is a part of the national ATA network of member organisations that work together to drive better outcomes for the trucking industry. It has its own independent policy council made up of NSW operators, which determines policy on state freight issues. ATA NSW is also a member of the Australian Trucking Association’s national general council, giving NSW operators a strong input into the national transport agenda.

State Transit Authority Bus Institute
The State Transit Bus Institute (STBI) is a not-for-profit organisation whose objectives are to organise, coordinate and manage sporting, recreational and social activities for employees and members of State Transit, and to enhance the welfare of these employees and members. STBI comprises members from 13 government bus depots in Sydney and Newcastle.
