Want to know how you can pay your contributions?

Your contributions (or 'premiums') must always be paid in advance. If they fall behind, it can mean that your rt membership card won't work with HICAPS or iSOFT for on-the-spot claiming, or that you're not covered for the treatments you receive.

There's a heap of different ways you can choose to pay, but the easiest is to set up a direct debit or salary deduction – just set and forget.

direct debit – from a bank, building society or credit union account, or from your mastercard or visa. Payments can be made fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. Download a direct debit form here.

If you already have a direct debit in place and you'd like to change it, there are a few options.
You can:
1. Log in to our online member centre and make the change right now (click the link opposite).
2. Fill in a new direct debit form and send it in to us (use the link just above to download a form).
3. If you just want to change the expiry date on a credit card rather than set up a whole new card or account, you can send us an email giving us the new details, click here to email.

salary deduction – if your employer has a plan in place, you can set it up so your contributions get paid automatically from your salary. Ask your HR person if they have a salary deduction program with us ... and if they don't, tell 'em what a good idea you reckon it is! Download a salary deduction form here.
